Victoria is Deputy Director, Evidence at the What Works Centre for Local Economic Growth. She provides advice and guidance to central and local policymakers on the use of evidence and evaluation on local growth policies.

Victoria Sutherland was previously at the North East Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP), where she was Senior Economist. Victoria led the North East LEP’s work to analyse the economic performance of the North East and to ensure that the region’s strategic documents, key decisions and work programmes were based on a strong evidence base.
